My legit account got banned wtf?

My legit is level 26 and I just got the ban 1 hour ago I did not use gps/nox etc etc I played manually. HOWEVER I did sign into my bot account on the same device... but why ther **** are they banning through device? dont make sense at all. Anyone legit got banned too?

My account also got banned today, was like level 17 but it wasnt 100% legit. Botted for maybe 30mins 3 weeks ago to reach level 12, the same level as my GFs account. Used to check and show my botted accounts on same phone as it tho so not sure if the very old botting or the same device got me.

If you read my post in the "Has anyone got unbanned from "Failed to receive data from server" yet?" Page 9 (2 long yo repost) I got banned, contacted support, waited, contacted again& included my new legit nickname & it was banned within 5 minutes... However, I am starting to think the design of the login system, app, backend database etc is ****ed and they just don't want people to know about it

Come the **** on dude. You logged into the bot and there is currently speculation that bot makers (in an attempt not get their ass sued) sent Niantic their user logs. There is a reason the recent ban wave has now become a sweeping ban. I can't believe how gullible people are on this forum.

The bot makers snitched on everyone and did you forget that you were on a botting forum? lol

I also had a 100% legit account "banned". I only logged into this account via my phone which has no cheats on it or whatever. I am only level 19 on that account. I did, however, also log into my cheated accounts on my same phone to check their Pokémon and check their bans. Either one of two only options occurs; they ban all accounts associated with the same phone or IP as cheated accounts or this error is not necessarily a ban and may be some other error. Only time will tell, I sent a ticket and ill get back with the results if they ever respond.
