Stop botting?

Niantic Founder said he is going to ban or lock out the accounts of the botters and GPS spoofers, maybe we should stop now and maybe we would be safe from when they do the banning. Or are we all screwed no matter what?

This doesn't mean we're all screwed, it just means that there's finally a risk.
Same with most other games, hacks, bots, etc. all put you at risk of getting banned yet so many people still do it.

Unless the account your botting with is super important to you in which case you should at least contemplate whether botting is still a good idea and worth the risk.
Besides unless your running like 40 bots or something under the same IP and your teleporting all over the place to get the more rare pokemons with your bot then you should be fine.
