Someone showed me an app they found on the play store that has been since taken down. It passively scanned your area and published a notification to your phone when it found a pokemon. It is called Pokemon Finder and I am hoping to find the apk for it. The icon for the app is in the center of the attached image.

I have it, but it doesn't work anymore since the api update.
