Mystic/Valor/Instinct Gym Freezing: Not the Egg Bug or Grimer Bug

So... Does anybody has a fix or workaround on this? Aside from relaunching the app or rebooting the phone.
Is there any way to tell if a gym is bugged so we don't have to click it?

Nevermind, I have successfully reproduced the bug just now. It's a combination of (1) Game design, (2) Niantic's unpatched minor issue, and (3) an exploit easily fixed by a banwave. And it looks like it's not gonna go away until the next patch.

It has NOTHING TO DO with the type of phone you have, which Team the gym belongs, who is the Gym Leader, the pokemons inside, nor the type of account you have. It's different from the Egg bug and the Grimer/Muk bug. This bug exploits the little known and "overlooked" feature/design of the game.

Let's see how fast Niantic can figure out what needs to be "changed" on the game. By the looks of it, this bug isn't gonna go away soon, and more occurrence is expected because more people are unconsciously "using" the cause of this bug.

To those who knows this and is keeping quiet, Please don't be greedy... Let others enjoy the game -_-

we have 2 valor gyms here... everytime we try to fight, the app says "error". after a restart the login doesnt work for about 5 minutes... after the login all works fine.
when i try to fight again, same issue...
we have tried it with a few phones and also nox, same issue...
edit: ptc or google accounts, same problem with every account...

Oh yeah, the moment Niantic fixes this bug, a good chunk of us here will be affected. It will be like the "Unknown6" days... lol

it's because asshats are deploying with blank chars causing the game to freeze because it has nothing to display. the thing is all of these accounts will be instaterminated as soon as niantic wakes up from it's beauty sleep with a simple set banned = 1 where userid in select userid where name = NULL and level > 1 query.

it's not rocket science and if some of us could figure it out this fast niantic's devs will faster by just analizing the gyms.

Its already shared by vino in the grimer glitch thread. Use a bot to deploy pokemon in gyms from a account that has not been started on a phone...no starter pokemon or character name.
