Has anyone with only one account been banned?

I've been reading various ban reports and there isn't much consistency between them. Some people appear to have gotten away with crazy xp bot settings, others got banned despite modest settings. More and more Nox users are now reporting bans *gulps*, but some have used Nox for weeks and remain safe. Account level also seems to make no difference, nor does taking over gyms or not.

One factor I have noticed is that a lot of people who report bans say things like "3 of my 5 accounts are now banned", "All 8 of my accounts are banned." etc... We know that the very earliest bans in the recent banwaves was ip bans... so obviously Niantic can detect ips and probably introduced autobans for suspicious accounts all using a shared ip

I've only had one account and got perm banned yesterday. Right after I took over two gyms. I seem to have gotten reported when I took over the gyms with high cp dragonites

true i can agree to this. putting up your best cp pokemon might not be a smart move for us botters.

I got ban and i used only one account and i had no gym

I had three accounts. My main, and two botted accounts. Both botted accounts were banned. Main was untouched. I sniped a few pokemons and botted a bit locally, long before all the additional security. (Same with the other bot accounts, but no where as near as much as those accounts).

Played a bit on my main and it's fine. I hope no one was stupid enough to put money down on their account and cheat on it :l

All my bots got banned, but my main legit is fine, the only thing that they could ban me for is using the pokeadvisor website which i didn't know was a bannable offence at the time

I spent a little money before I started cheating, nothing crazy though so wouldn't be tragic if I got banned (would be more bummed about lost time and effort). Here's hoping paid users get a little more leeway

Hey guys . Just got my ban last night . Only played one account i was playing legit until level 25-26, until it became a real pain in the buttocks grindfest. Ive used about 74 $ worth of pokecoins before using pokevision , snipers and the old maclone bots and everything . When the bots stopped showing pokestops, and the nox showed nothing , i tried to logon on my phone and now it always tells me it failed to retrieve game data. Tried the google play refund, i get the same generic mail and also on niantic. I guess the only thing left is calling my card issuer.

It's just a matter of time now. New people are getting banned each day. I doubt any of us will be able to get away with it but who knows.

Niantic is watching this and many forums alike in order to see how their methods work, and looks at every detail on how everyone got banned.

This only fuels their anticheat system. People are freaking out too much right now after the banwave, since many dont know how. Which is golden information for them!!

My personal belief is that Niantic doesnt know themself how to stop us effectively and thus trying to weed us out with various methods, in order to deploy a REAL anti-cheat program, which will work much much better, since it will know how we operate, in detail.. which we are now providing them with daiily now!
