PokeFast - Blazingly fast Go map scanner for Android that won't get you banned

    Hello!
Let me introduce you PokeFast - a new map scanner that won't get you banned. This is because you won't need to use any accounts, and the app does not make any request to Niantic servers. Just open the app, and click on the find button. That's it!

You can download it from the play store (PokeFast - Android Apps on Google Play or search PokeFast)

At the moment it only displays their numbers in the map - in order to not infringe their intellectual property. We're still working on new updates to make the app even better, so stay tuned to our twitter @PokeFastApp!

    Please explain:

How can the app access any data without using the API?

The app access our PokeFast server, which then uses the API. This way you don't connect directly to the API, and avoid any possible bans

I tried it out and it is very fast and accurate but I have a few complaints. First, I don't know all the numbers by heart and I doubt most regular people do. I had to use a number list to keep checking which Pokemon corresponded to each number. As an example, I didn't know that a #120 was a Staryu and when I click on the number it just shows me the GPS and not the name.

It would be beneficial if you could include the name of the Pokemon when you click on the number, no image is needed.

Second, the ads are fine cause I know you need to make some money but can we get an ad free version if we pay for it? Like if I just buy the app for $10 or I'd even pay $2 a month to use the app without ads. That brings me to my Third point, the delay in searching. Again I realize this is so your server is not overloaded but 45 seconds seems like a long time for such a fast app. I'd pay extra to be able to search quicker.

If you tweak this app and perfect it, I could see it becoming very popular.

First of all, glad you like the app!
We don't display names nor images because both are copyrighted. However, we have developed a system that will allow you to load your own assets - meaning you will be able to display images easily. We are about to upload this new version to the Play Store and then we'll just have to wait and fight a little bit with the reviewers until it's published.

Regarding the ad-free version, we're developing a "premium" membership, which will probably be quite cheap (1-2€ lifetime), and will remove all ads and also lower the wait time between searches. We're still working on this, but for premium users the wait time will probably depend on the server load, that is, if server usage is low, you won't have to wait at all, and if server is busy you will have to wait something like 15secs.

    More updates soon!
