If i want to manage my inventory while the bot is running i log in pogo on my phone/nox and do whatever i want in the inventory. You don't have to be in the same location as bot. However you can't interact with gyms, wild pokemons or pokestops else both you and bot will be softbanned. However if you are in the same location as bot then you can stop bot to catch a rare pokemon then once you finish you can start bot again. Finally if you are in the same location as bot and try to interact with pokemon, gym or pokestop, nothing will happened. You wont get softbanned but you wont be able to catch pokemon, fight gym or collect items from pokestop either.
