If you are ip banned, read this. [If you have a dynamic ip, discard this guide]
Preparing to do the IP changing magic
1. First of all, take a deep breath. Inhale, then exhale.
2. An IP itself cannot do a lot by its own. If you have a dynamic IP, then you can discard this guide: it will change tomorrow.
3. Take a note that an IP ban is pretty much useless. Tbh a lot (read: a metric f*ckton of people) have used bots, this will help your problems fade away.
Obtaining your router's control panel ip
This will be used to change your router's configuration.
1. Open a terminal (cmd). To launch cmd, go to Start -> Run and type in cmd or press the windows key and R then do the same.
2. Type in "ipconfig" and press enter.
3. Within the list that shows up, find either your local ethernet connection (if you use ethernet) or your wifi connection.
4. When you found the entry, copy the ip next to "Default Gateway".
You're set!
Obtaining your router's control panel password
This is needed in order to access your router's control panel.
1. Open your web browser and navigate to the IP you obtained in the previous guide.
2. Once you arrive to the login screen (admin should be set to default -- if it's not, either select the admin/root account from the list or type in "Admin"/"admin"/"Root"/"root" yourself), try these passwords:
- No password (type in nothing. that's the default password for a LOT of routers out here)
- "root"
- "admin"
- " " (just a space)
- "user"
- "password"
- "connect24" (popular among DLINK routers for some reason)
3. If the above didn't work, try to look for the router's password on your router itself: go get off your fat lazy bum bums and crawl to where your router is (physically, in real life) then inspect its surface.
4. If you didn't find the password on your router's case, but your router has wifi capabilities, then try your wifi password. That might work.
5. If all of the above failed, try to look up information about your router's model on Google. Make sure to search "[your router model here] default password admin".
Changing your IP
The important part of this magical guide.
1. Search in your router menu for the MAC address input field. It should usually be under the "Connection" menu. Write it down somewhere just in case something goes wrong.
2. Once you found it, generate a new MAC address here (the default settings are fine) and replace the one there was in the input field with the one you generated.
3. Save and apply changes.
4. Reset your modem: Take a pin (a pencil/pen will also do fine), go to your modem and search for the reset hole/button. Once you found it, press it.
5. Wait until your modem shows signs of life (lights), then return to your computer.
6. Once you returned to your router's menu, search again for DHCP-related options. DHCP is the protocol that is used in order to give your network its public IP address.
7. When you have found some DHCP-related options, try to search for a "renew"/"remake"/"discover"/(anything similar) button within those options.
8. Press the button, of course. Wait until it's completed.
9. (optional, highly recommended though) Reboot your router. This can either be done by manually unplugging your router from your wall, waiting 30 seconds then replugging it. Most recent routers however has a reboot feature directly available within the router's control panel. I had that option so I used it. Works flawlessly.
10. Have fun botting.

People who run an insane amount of bots simultaneously deserve to be IP banned.

I don't quite understand the point of this. Usually for me, I get IP banned like every 5min.
So does that mean I would have to repeat the process every 5 min?
It seems like having a dynamic IP would solve this issue.

That's why I said "If you have a dynamic IP discard this guide"...
Also, this really only takes max 5 minutes.
