Fix "IP-Bans" easily

I just bought 10 fresh proxies, applied ONE to each, ran 10 bots with its own proxy.

After 3 minutes i got perma softbanned.

Ok, this methode is pretty much disproven.


I believe, it has something to do with how many actions per second you do, movement speed, how u travel in world or something else! ???

it doesnt make difference for me, if I run 1 bot, 3, 4, 5 or how many and which Proxies it is.

I got temp ip banned before i went to sleep but thought it was server lag, woke up saw this thread changed to proxy everything worked for 10min with 7 bots then softbanned again, switched back to my normal connection and ban was removed?

Also now i run 3 bots for 1 hours without ip ban im pretty sure its depends on how many bots and the "request rate" to the api that are flagging for temp ban

Nope ... proxies are just not implemented yet... ( its only in settings but its not forked into code)

Are you using Necrobot ?
Which software are you using to tunnel your connection under a proxy ?

I am running 3 bots myself right now without any proxy/vpn : 1 pokefarmer, and 2 necrobot. No problem so far in 1H30.

I think VPN won't help in this case. It doesn't matter what ip do you have - niantic will give u softban after they will see that from ip there are 3+ more accounts.


So generally if you want to run 3+ bots, you will have to configure somehow proxy for each account, which is hard... I think it will be hard to avoid, since public proxies will be used by another players.

how? In each of my 10 sessions I put a different IP, like this:

"UseProxyHost": "xx.xxx.xxx.xx",

"UseProxyPassword": null,

The x's is ofc the IP and Port number.

We should test whether the proxies are working before jumping to conclussions. You could download Wireshark and check whether you connect to the pokemon server or your proxy.

i downloaded wireshark, not sure how to use it?

where do you get your proxies from? what site? what type?

also, if I buy proxies on a homepage, can I be sure, that no other PG-botters is using it? or is it only assigned to me?
