No one has actually caught a Ditto yet, It's been found in the games code and there was also a video somewhere where someone changed the code of another Pokemon and a Ditto appeared although, was unable to be captured since it just crashed whenever he tried to catch it.

Actually, that video is faked. The creator of that video uploaded another video that shows how he faked it.
