Any official lead on perma-bans?

Everyone says the new data error is a permaban, but is there any actual definite evidence on this yet? I got the error twice on a 31 and switching account fixed it, then a third time it became unfixable. Seems odd that a "permaban" could be fixed so easily.

I get it that you are scare and afraid to lose your beloved high level account but getting "no data" is not permaban yet, it is Niantic blocking your account because it is under investigation. This is why if you've taken over a gym, your account will still be there. Only when they sent you an email (https://s3.amazonaws.com/zam-www/ass..._bannotice.jpg) is when your account will finally be ban.

and what exactly leads you to deduce that the temp ban ("no data") will NOT lead to perma- ban? if your premise is that its only "flagged for review", then even a monkey with half a brain can take less than 5 second and see the 3k snorlax candies in your account and go ahead and decide that your account probably deserves to be shut down for good.

I think those who are flagged mostly level 40 and often fighting at gym + Snipping
I rarely do these gym and snipping

Because of their Terms of Service, "Upon any termination, discontinuation, or cancellation of Services or your Account, the following provisions of these Terms will survive: Arbitration Notice; Content Ownership; Rights Granted by You; Effect of Termination on Trading Items, Virtual Money, and Virtual Goods; Feedback; Disclaimer of Warranties; Indemnity; Limitation of Liability; Dispute Resolution; General Terms; and this sentence of Termination. Until you've receive an actual email from them telling you that you are ban, you are actually not.
