Pokemon Go for PC Client -- Play Pokemon Go in any city -- SythePoke v0.8
This is created by the owner of Sythe.org, he is asking users to spread the client. Link to the official thread is on the bottom of the thread.
This is an alpha release.
This client is a bundled pre-prepared android emulator called NOX with Pokemon Go already installed on it (and it autoboots). The client is a piece of code I've written to adjust your GPS location in the game using the arrow keys on your keyboard.
Instruction:
1. Download the SythePoke Zip and unzip it somewhere convenient.
Download link -> MEGA
2. Download the latest SythePoke.exe: (v0.8 )
Download link -> MEGA
We're at v0.8 now, with a city selector and location saver and bug fixes
3. Replace the SythePoke.exe in the folder you just extracted with the one you just downloaded. (Sorry I didn't want to reupload the 1gb zip every time I made a small code change.)
That's it. To run double click SythePoke.exe
Warnings:
This client bundles a third party android phone emulator called NOX. I have scanned and used this product personally however I cannot vouch for it as I did not write it. Please satisfy yourself using your own virus scanner.
Use a new google account, not your main Pokemon Go account. We do not know if this is bannable at this stage.
Let me know if you have bug reports.
Screenshot:
Tutorial to change your city after you already set it:
Warning don't change your city unless you absolutely have to because you risk a ban.
1. Close both the nox window and sythe poke window.
2. Open regedit (start -> type regedit -> press enter -> accept the warning)
3. Use the folders to find HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> SOFTWARE -> SythePoke
4. Open the SythePoke registry key (folder).
5. Delete the "lat" and "lng" keys on the right hand side by selecting them and pressing delete.
Now when you reopen the client it will ask you for your city again.
Incidentally some people asked for the source code so I've put it on github for what it's worth: https://github.com/NotSythe/SythePoke

I still don't understand what this does...
It just sets up NOX so you don't have to?
NOX has a pokemongo page where you can download it with pokemongo already installed. and the wasd keys already work with it...

You have most likely been soft banned. Check again later!

How long do these soft bans typically last? I can still interact with pokemon, however after one pokeball they seem to be running away.

Guys this is silly. The developers of NOX have a pre-built environment ready to go for PokemonGo:
Experience Pokémon GO on PC for players with no access to the game yet
That is from the official developer, OP can't actually tell you what this program is for or what the difference is and I get that it's all open-source but why use a programing written by someone on a forum that has a horrible reputation over properly built software from the actual developer?
