Not too sure. I would create a fake PTC account and give it a shot. Say you created it at 6PM and caught your first pokemon. Make the jump at 8PM and see if you get softban or not. If you do then check back until you are no longer ban. This should give you an estimate soft ban time. If it never lift from soft ban then... don't do it. Make sure to use the same coordinate all the time.

Pretty sure soft bans aren't really bans. It just locks you out of your account for a certain time if you travel too fast.
