Soft bans - What we know, should you be worried and how to avoid it

I can still catch pokémon but I can't get any items from pokéstops. what should I do?

Can I bypass it?
No you can't bypass it. The ban is on your account, not on your current PoGo process, IP or phone. You can try shutting down the game, restarting your phone or killing the app process in your phone settings, but it won't work.

You can actually bypass it within 2 minutes. you just go to a pokestop, open it up and spin it once, back out, and go back in to spin it again. You do this about 30-40 times in a row, it resets you and takes the ban off. I've done it about 5 times already within a couple hours. I jumped from San Francisco, to England, to New York and that's all I do before i go hunting. I jump, visit a pokestop and walk until i get the ban, then i go to a pokestop. If you don't believe me, create a tester account and follow my directions.

i'm not softban 'cause i can spin pokestop and get xp, but all pokemon always flee.. what to do?

BASO this is really random, but i teleported to a Muk but i was softbanned, i clicked on the Muk just to see it's CP and it's 1500, LIKE BRUH I WANT THIS SO BAD. So does anyone know, if i just stay on the pokemon without throwing any pokeballs, and wait a few hours like that, will i be able to catch it once the softban is lifted, or will it run away since i clicked on it when i was softbanned? I have been going around 27 kilometers from one spot to another and I've yet to been banned for it. However I did go over 5000km one time and I was banned fairly quickly. I was able to catch a few pokemon before I was banned
