Soft bans - What we know, should you be worried and how to avoid it

what if you're driving in a car or taking a tram somewhere and coincidentally it lines up with Nox speed?

Cars don't travel constantly the same speed as the speed you get from pressing WASD in Nox. They need to stop at red lights/stop, accelerate/decelerate for traffic, stop for a few seconds to park, follow specific roads, etc. All behavior that won't be replicated unless the user spends a great deal of time on it.

And trams of course follow a handful of tracts.

Also if you're living in an apartment building in the city or have a boat on the bay, you can travel inside the building the application cannot tell if you're inside or outside

True but if you are at the Metropolitan Museum of Art at 3am, it is suspicious. Again nothing that could ban you by itself, but combined with other evidence can guarantee a ban.

it is possible that this Bans, were just because of reports.
On Pokemon Go Reddit there were at least 3 Threads of Twitch-Channel with GPS Spoofing.

Could the ip address be a good identification for GPS spoofing since you can locate the providers city ?
When my ip address is from Uk and im in central park NY for example, that has to be gps spoofing right ?
Or are there any static ip adresses for LTE that work around the world ?

When you're on a data-connection (mobile) in another country, you'll still have your normal carrier and their IP.

could they differentiate beetween a mobile connection and a normal one that you have at home (i have dual stack) so that you could never be in New York with a "normal home ip" from Europe.?

If you jump while soft-banned and don't log in again for an hour+, it won't give you an extension or another soft ban right?

Guys, I have really strange soft ban, when i teleport with the virtual location with like small steps not jumping too much, i can collect pokestops and can catch pokemons but i can't fight at gyms, i start fighting and when the GO logo comes it stucks for a couple of seconds and goes back to the gym owners page

You are not soft-banned.
It happened to me last night, I was actually walking around to play on my phone and was not spoofing. I chose a gym to battle, whenever the GO logo went off, it went back to the screen which let me choose who to fight.
Later on that night I went home and was spoofing on my computer, it let me fight at the gym like normally.

I think it was just server issue.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but I created a google account to play go on Nox and only Nox not using that account on my phone or anything and not using my main account on Nox either. I use my main account on my phone that is connected to the same wifi, can my main account be banned? Even though it's never used with Nox ?

You are not soft-banned.

Yeah but the strange thing was that for example there was a pidgey and rattata next to the gym i tried to catch the pidgey, it went away, but the rattatas didn't, like i used ultra ball and strawberry for a god damn 100 cp pidgey there's no way he could escape, and i was still able to collect things from pokestops

EDIT: the pidgey went away after the first attempt to catch him

Pokemons got 5% flee chance. Some more than others like abra with 99%. They can escape ultra balls and berries.

If I only move around at running speed in a single area (for some reason not near me) will it cause a perms ban.
I also got soft banned and I think it's because until now I've been using a separate account for spoofing and I this morning logged the second account into the normal version of the app. It worked fine. But then when I logged out on regular app and logged in to spoofed app it was a soft ban.
Could this be the cause of the soft ban?
And will it be resulting in a perma ban.
