Soft bans - What we know, should you be worried and how to avoid it

spoofing at a 4 stop with lures yields me zero pokemon.

I can feel the game hiccup (presumably as pokeming are spawning), yet nothing spawns.

I can still find and catch pokemon outside of lures.
I can still use pokestops every 5 minutes or so.
-however, pokestops don't go purple after using them.
-and they really only drop pokeballs (like 80% of the time).

the issue has persisted for 30 hours or so.
could it be an emulator problem perhaps?
I'm using nox. I havn't yet tried bluestacks.

Well they got the oppertunity to ban or atleast mark us yeah.

So after setting up blue stacks and using a spoofer i moved to my local town center, everything has been fine for the past hour or so ( i havent moved from the 3 pokestops) and soft banned? Im confused how can they tell if you have not moved?!

Nothing extends the duration of your ban.

No you can stay at the same spot without moving.

Do you have a personal opinion on the likelihood of there being a mass ban wave happening when the game gets matured?

I personally really hope I won't be included in a mass ban if it happens, I use my phone for real and also spoof at home, I have never jumped to a location outside of the areas I have actually been with my real phone never left anywhere outside of my city and nearby locations to my city. Never jumped more than even half a km and have not be soft banned at all.

I have spoofed in the past on ingress many times with the same ruleset that I'm following on this game and have never been banned... so I really don't know if it's possible they'll be able to catch you if you follow a strict ruleset such as I.

They are so busy with releasing pokemon go over the world. They have way to many issues with the constant players registrating. But I guess u won't be able to spoof much longer. There will be definitly a ban wave, but I don't think in the next days, rather in a few weeks. I will take full advatange a few more days, till I see the first bans incoming.

If you go out and play without spoof then it will reset to your phones real gps location.
