I just sold 80k gold on saurfang horde to
username - j.kj.k
Skype name- J K
Paypal- Roberta solano
email- [email protected]

He sent me payment of $80 thru paypal for 80k. The funds where in my paypal account so i traded him 80k in game.
1 hour later i recieved a email from paypal claiming that a payment that i have recieved may not have been authorised by the PayPal account holder. So he has contacted his bank and claimed he has not recieved the goods from me. And the $80 was taken from my account and frozen. So now i have lost 80k gold from him using a chargeback scam.

PLEASE REPORT THIS PLAYER AND BLACKLIST HIM.

You need to have the funds sent as a gift or to a family member or whatever -- payment for online goods cant be proven and selling gold like that will always get you scammed

Gift, family & friends payments dont prevent chargebacks and unauthorized claims at all. You shouldn't make such statement unless you are sure, it can mislead others and make them feel safe to accept big payments as "gift".

As Pr3cious mentioned, there is always risk with PayPal because of chargeback scammers.


Also J K is his skype Nickname probably, go right click on his profile(In your contacts list) then View Profile and check(and take screenshot and post here as a proof) of his Skype Name...
ALSO I cannot find his Username here, anyway if You want to get him banned You need some evidence that his Skype and Username here are linked somehow(E.G. His thread where he add that Skype as his contact info or a PM/Post where he confirms that he is talking to You on Skype (and even that can go wrong but its not the case ))

Now You know about chargebacks, be more careful next time and try to get some connection between his username on forum and his skype so AT LEAST he can get banned here.
