    Apith Scammer

    Ownedcore name: Apith
    Skype name: Apitheer
    Paypal name: [email protected]
    Paypal ID: Apith Online Services
Ownedcore scam link: http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/mmo-...-beta-key.html (Heartstone Beta Key)

I don't normally trust people on the internet, but he was highly credited on this website as a premium trader, donator, etc... so I took the bait. First I contacted him, offering 120, but I would only pay 50 first, and 70 after the key. he showed me a picture of the email with a skype that had the name Apith in it, he was hesitant on 50, and pretended to have another buy with 90 that said he would go first, so I let it go and gave up. I started to come to my senses that he's kind of the best shot at being legit I will find, and said I would do 60 before, 60 after, and he played it off like "Oh I just finished typing up the message for the other guy, but 60/60 sounds better than 90". At that point I should have known... So we agree to the terms, I send him 60, he starts to take a long time to respond, and I start getting paranoid. Finally I tell him he needs to hurry up, and he just says stupid stuff like "oh I'm just googling your email, skype etc... this is standard procedure". At that point I knew he was fake. He started not talking in correct English. Last thing was he told me he sent the email, and expects the other half of the payment, and he removed me from friends list, refusing to reaccept a friend request. If you look at the scam link provided, there are numerous people claiming they were scammed by him, and him trying to get the thread closed before people realize he's a scammer.

Attached is the conversation I had with him in skype

As you can see from the skype window I typed that I've sent the key. I said that and moved on to forward the e-mail but I saw that as soon as I typed that he removed me from friends. So I learned that he was trying to get the key for cheap. But, after that he opens an unauhorized payment dispute and even though the note says virtual item clearly, They close the dispute in his favor. Notice that they closed the dispute 2-3 hours after he opened it and I didn't get a chance to respond it. The only way to win an unauthorized payment claim when buying a virtual good is when the payment really is unauthorized and I've never seen a dispute closed so fast without me getting a chance to respond wtf?. He either used a stolen paypal account or a stolen credit card He was the one trying to scam me all along. After I realized that it was him and I didn't send the key, he got really furious I believe and he spammed all my threads for trolling. But thankfully I sold my key to a legitimate buyer he went first and it's all over.

Finished my investigation. Got a huge file on him and thanx for the proof guys made it add more stuff to the file. His information is out now in the open. For people easy to find and this is how we deal with scammers from now on. Funny thing is that he wonders why paypal closed the dispute so fast >.< These scammers are getting dumber and dumber...

Purpose of this section is before you do a trade with anyone you can use ownedcore search or google search. And type their info see if they will pop up. Now if anyone types anything in the search about this scammer he will pop up.

Good team work and keep on posting proof so we will finish off with these scammers.

I know you've already settled the case, but I would just like to respond with this. He said I "removed him from friends". As you can see, I sent him multiple friend requests that were only denied. My Paypal is fully legit, I didn't use any illegal methods, I showed him enough proof that it was a legitimate Paypal. Also, I bet he can't name the person and have him/her vouch for receiving the key from him.

But anyways, good jobs mods, you guys are awesome

Also, could you please remove the picture he posted, I don't feel to great knowing my Paypal information is posted out in the open, not that I have anything to hide, I would just rather not be targetted by any other scammers.
