Heroes of Newerth - Blasts into the media!

The epic-sized standalone of popular WC3 Map DOTA has now had it's NDA lifted.

Heroes of Newerth- which many MMOwned members acquired beta keys to recently - has officially announced their non-disclosure agreement has been removed. This means that media outlets - such as the MMOwned News Team - can now freely post beta experiences, screenshots, videos, and more!

Only in the past month or so have I discovered DotA, but I have to admit I'm impressed with the aesthetic quality the game's trailer had shown.

It's more than brilliant to see something that in it's own is pretty damn cool, but to then see somebody else take that concept and push it further. The team has my applause.

its almost 100% the same game... more than 80% of the heroes are EXACTLY the same as in Dota (skills and everything else) items are the same and some new heroes.
team fights in this game make me wanna smash my head against the screen... there are so many effects that after 2 seconds into the fight you dont know whats goin on... it was made WAY more clear in dota wich did not overuse GFX (if possible or not). one other example is bloodseekers ultimate... its SO hard to recognize in HoN

I'm in the beta, I've never played Dota, and there's no tutorial whatsoever.
So you just get flamed by others if you don't know how to play.

If they want the game to be more popular they're going to have to make it easier to pickup. I don't mean they should change the game in anyway, but they need some sort of single player tutorial.

I could go on the forum and read the 100 walls of texts explaining everything but I just don't have the willpower.
