OwnedCore MMO Poker Client (Feedback \ Ideas wanted!)
Hello everyone. I would LOVE ideas for this
For the better part of 9 months I have been creating an MMO based Poker Client for OwnedCore. No, it's not going to 'gambling'. I am making this client as a fun game, free roll where you can earn Core Coins. You will NOT be able to deposit or play with your Core Coins in the vision I have. Only win some.
Lobby <-- Click that
Click Connect
Type in your name and try out the ring games
Give me your thoughts and ideas:
VERSION 1:
Overview
The idea of this poker client is to use it on the forums ownedcore.com (Gaming forum). Both of these sites are built on vbulletin framework (PHP). I want to create a fun, unique gaming experience for the users.
Users will NOT be depositing money, but they can win prizes, that is, the sites virtual currency. For ownedcore (and let’s concentrate on ownedcore for the purposes of version 1), that will be “CoreCoins” they will win.
We will have the ability to turn off the MMO features so we have classic poker as well.

The MMO Ideas:
Spell Cards:
You accumulate Mana at +1 per round. For the first version, everyone will have access to all spell cards.
There's also an idea that you get Mana instead for doing aggressive actions. Betting, Raising, Calling etc..
Users can collect cards \ spells.. Some initial ideas \ examples:
o Show 1 card from every player
o When you are knocked out, auto reloads you with "Last Stand" 100 chips or % of chips left
o Redo the flop
o Force play to check
o Coup de gras (Use on someone with less than 2 or 5% of all chips in play, killing blow which puts them out of their misery, ends their tournament)
o Run it twice (At the point of an all-in run the cards twice only heads up)
o All action on the hand stops and pot is split evenly amongst players
o Spell takes a % of a players health (chips)
o Extra River Card
o All Out – All in bet becomes a min bet instead
o Extra hole card (Replace 1 card)
o Force no raises
o Blind opponent. Can no longer see their cards
o Sit out 1 hand – make a player sit out before the start of a hand
o Pot stealer – take 25% of the current pot
o Redraw your hole cards
Anyways, I don't want to overwhelm you, but more so, I want your feedback.. Good idea? Bad idea? Sound like fun?
How can we make it better?
"And Shepherds we shall be. For thee, my Lord, for thee.
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand. Our feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be.
In Nomeni Patri Et Fili Spiritus Sancti."

Excited! Sounds like fun.

Looks fun! - I am unable to connect to the client that you linked though -- The 'Connect' button simply does nothing, so I'm unable to type in any name in the textfield.
I'm running Chrome on Win10.

It should let you click connect (Nothing should happen but it should connect)
Then type in your name
"And Shepherds we shall be. For thee, my Lord, for thee.

played a couple hands during my lunch break earlier and it runs clean. Will definitely do more this weekend. Overall this is a cool idea.

What do you think about adding the MMO Element to it?
