OwnedCore community and trading's done thanks to this site are growing up more and more every year.

Maybe is a bit complicated or may sounds futuristic but with all trades we do on this site probably an authenticator would make Legit traders to sleep even better
Skrill have this option , PayPal also , Blizzard Entertainment and many others companies and sites too ! So why not OwnedCore as well ?

Not only make this will make legit traders and new users who contact them to stay even more safe but also will mean less problems for OC admins with eventually stolen accounts.
(You could even add one new tag for those =)) " Protected " so people will know there is no chance the person they deal with can be hacked at that mom ect)
Of course every piece will be optional and will have a cost which users will have to pay if they want an additional layer of protection , and I think many will even do that to protect even more their small business here.

Thanks for reading my suggestion and I wait to see what people think about this Specially people who trade often but also people with old join date / many posts / rep points who are afraid one day their acc may be stolen and used to scam people.

There's no plugin that allows for a two-step login as far as I'm aware. If you can find a plugin for VB that does it, let us know!

Yeh could not find anything about 2 steps login plugins in VB :S
Maybe this thread should be more for those good with programing. As far as I know plugins can also be created .
But yes my suggestion was more to see how good traders and users would see this and how much is the desire for such implement on this site

Whilst I am sure such a plugin could be created, I just don't see the viability in creating something like that. Sure, it would make logins and such things of the like more secure, but wouldn't be worth the amount of time needed imo

Yeh prob is a bit to complicated Not going on wrong sites or clicking wrong stuff + Malwarebytes + Kaspersky + KeyScrambler + Virtual Keyboards ect ect should be enough , but lets not forget we had cases when famous traders on OC had their acc stolen and loads of people were scammed :P
I was mostly suggesting it for those kind of people , but probably the trouble and the difficulty on implementing this (for those people using same password on every site or not protecting at all their PC?) is to big indeed.
Hopefully few guides teaching people how to protect their PC and how to avoid such troubles should be more than enough...

good idea, i think there should be a rule the person pm's them via oc before trades to prevent people from stealing purple+ names and scamming other people. Also to help tone down on scammers, people should stop posting there skype name public but make people pm them for it because anyone can add that skype on a fake name and clame to be who ever ezly.

i think its a gd idea! so even if ac pw is being stolen via keylog or any other means, there would be another layer of protection.

I think it would be a good idea to implement this just for accounts Elite+. If it was available for everyone, Mods wouldn't do anything else than resolving tickets from idiots who locked themselves out of their accounts. Also an account before Elite is not worth securing with two-step verification.

That is why you add auto unlock options just like blizz has.
It should be available to all people. no ones security is more important than anyone elses.

it can be a opt in option and pp can remove the auth/readd the auth on their own wif the recovery code. (like goggle auth)
