Skin ideas and/or color schemes for FPS/RTSOwned

I've looked at both sister sites and I feel that the lay out is rather nice and pleasent, but the colors should atleast be swapped in the default given skin. On a personal note I'd associate green with RTSes and red with FPSes.

I've looked at the recently locked thread that had the "OMG PANDAS!" and "BUMP DIS THREAD FOR GREAT JUSTICE CUZ I CAN'T CONTRIB ANYTHING ELSE TO DIS THREAD". After looking at both Greenfox and Bluefox I could see RTSOwned using Greenfox as typically in most resource gathering RTSes and RTS games in general resources are green due to being the cash and money to supplying your attacking force. Thus leading to green being the prominant color in RTS games when it comes to association with colors to represent what is important what is not.

On FPSOwned the prominant color should be red. Red usually represents the rage faces that people throw on in online matches when they're owning or being owned by others. It also siginifies the enemy and the flashy sides of the screen when you're about to die or have been killed. Sometimes attacked. This is my lackluster input at the moment.

I might add more to my suggestion, but on a personal level the colors on the Owned sister sites, excluding PokerOwned, feel a bit mismatched and quickly choosen.

If you are going to contribute to my thread please contribute to it. Not post stuff that will anger KuRIoS and have him beat this thread into submission before locking it down.

I am always open to customizing the current style to a different color scheme or changes. Actual suggestions are welcome.

Well, Ket. I'd say it would be good to customize it to look like BlueFox. Most of the people love BlueFox, the style according to me gives a good atmosphere. The other solution is just using BlueFox. If you also customize the buttons a little and make it look like BlueFox/GreenFox it's possible that MMOwned can become what it was before, everyone will give reputation for the things that deserve it. It's up to you.

Changing the skin has no effect on rep gains/usage by members... and considering mmowned has grown since bluefox was used... the idea of becoming that form of mmowned again would be counter intuitive.

I wasn't quite suggesting it to MMOwned. It looks great with the panda, which I find as an odd mascot, but I'm not one to judge the site.

I'm more focusing this on the RTSOwned and FPSOwned sites.

Due to legal restraints from Blizzard we can not use a WoW figure or anything.. so we let the users decide and they voted on the panda..

anyways, you're saying because we've used a skin before we cannot use it again? Doesn't make sense to me. Also, I'm pretty sure it was a custom made skin that looked a tad like bluefox, not the actual bluefox theme.
