Better Idea for Moderator Approved Thread

It's annoying when you have to wait a few days (Depends) to get your thread approved by a mod. I think its a good system don't get me wrong, but I think that contribs up don't have to wait for a mod to approve, or epic up idk. Just something I thought of now.

EDIT: (By Reflection) I disagree. Contributor isn't really that big a feat to get as all it really takes is one simple post (which might be a copy-paste or a repost, mind you) and they have a few reputation points.

The problem is rather that we currently have no idea that there are topics pending for approval without checking the appropriate sections or posts. What I however would like is any way to see that something is waiting for your approval or disapproval.

At the end of the day you'll get the same results: quicker approvals but without the need for this. After all, people make mistakes, even contributors, and unapproved threads from contributors are quite common.

I'd agree with that. I think contribs have "contrib'd" enough to know how to contrib. I mean that is our title after all =P

This. I've seen contribs make threads that are useless, reposts, pure C/P, and post directly in Elite Guides/Exploits because they think they're all that when it's something that barely warrants normal guilds/exploits.

I think Reflections idea of having some sort of alert/notification system for mods to see that there are new threads/posts awaiting mod action would be the best change possible regarding this sort of problem.

This. I didn't know there was no system to tell them about a thread. I agree with Reflection.

Even elite + will make mistakes, it's better to have a system that lists all threads that needs to be approved and that moderators + can access those to verify to be approved or not.
