More MMOwned Contests, Section Specific.

It would be pretty good If there were more contests on MMOwned, the new ToTM has encouraged people to a extent to contribute, but not alot.
I was considering something the other day and I thought about contests for each section. Example.

January 2010, Model Editing Contest.

The person who makes the best model edit voted by players or staff wins x rep or something donated by a MMOwned member(s)

February 2010, Emulation Contest.

The person who makes the best script/release/contribution to the Emulation scene voted by players or staff wins x rep or something donated by a MMOwned member(s)

March 2010, Exploit Contest.

The person who finds/posts the best exploit voted by staff/members wins x rep or something donated by a MMOwned member(s)

April 2010, Graphic Contest.

The person ...... blah blah blah.....

You get the idea, something along those lines.
I think it would be a good way to start the new decade off.
Any thoughts/comments/feedback?

ToTM didn't work, first week 37 votes, now were getting 9 votes a week if that. People get bored of the feature, it was only good while it was a novelty. Same back when we had that emulation competition:

Hardly anyone contributed for it, and those who did, did not spend long on it. The reward was an ipod shuffle, do you want a iphone per win or something?
Basically in my opinion it might be good the first time, but even if it was it wouldn't last long.

It doesn't have to be something that anyone technically has to spend money on to give away.

I work for Universal Studios and almost every Universal Studios employee can earn "Applause Bucks" for doing outstanding things. These things do not cost the company any money and can be redeemed for on-property redemptions.

Quarterly as an employee perk the company gives each employee a certain number of park tickets, these things also do not cost any money.

So I'm sure there's a few things that MMOwned can give away that people would like to have. For example, if the person isn't an Elite/Legendary member, a reward could be a free months access to the Elite/Legendary section for that one person.

It's things like this that cost nothing that could be used as a very effective way of getting people to post quality content for the contests.

Anyway, that's my two cents.

I think some new, regulated contests, one for every section, is a great idea. But there would need to be a large collaboration of prizes, for them ajority of people to get involved.
I could always throw in another iPod.

Sounds great, but i think that like a month contest for each section for rep rather than prizes would be good i eat rep up like ice cream lolololol

We already had Model Editing contest which also failed hard on attempts.
