No keyloggers/Scamming section

First of all, I've searched and have not found such a suggestion.

Secondly, the title says it all, to prohibit the posting of guides/programs on "how-to-key-log" someone.

Why?

1. Because keylogs can be used for multiple purposes, one can hack someone's paypal account, facebook accounts etc. And there's allready a rule about "do-not-steal-real-life-money".
2. In my opinion, this is no longer "scamming"
3. This does not belong in a WoW scamming section, but in other, more appropriate forums who do stuff like hacking, key-logging etc. not here on MMOwned, where we base ourselves mostly on scamming wow accounts via web phishers etc, not key-loggers.
4. This is also to protect the uploader of the key-logger, since these keylogs can be traced with ease, you can sniff the login/password from their FTP server with little effort. *I'm not saying this goes for all of the keylogger, in case someone start flaming stuff like "Omfg, it's not teh easy with mine, etc."

I'm sure many of you might be against it, because you probably gain massive profits by doing this, but it does not belong here, though in more appropriate forums.

Thus my 'suggestion', I truly hope this will be considered and I'd like to hear some feed-back from other various members of the board involving this rule.

I totally agree with Dombo. Keyloggers are dangerous. You can **** up someone's life by stealing his paypal, hijack his email etc.Keep it sportive and scam only the dumb noobs dumb enough to get scammed. Don't use the dirty keylogger just because you can't hack him or anything.

Supported by me, keyloggers are more something for Warez sites then for a MMORPG website... Just my idea I guess

Agreed. Perhaps they could go in a Contributor or Elite section, to keep them somewhat out of the wrong hands, although they don't really belong there either. But certainly not in any public WoW section.

Defo agree with this i dont agree with keylogging for money or anything that will do damage to anyones life, Stealing someones paypal is a terrible thing to do and 100% shouldnt be posted on his site... However keylogging wow accounts and learning how to keylog them possibly should be allowed.

Imo the scam section should be closed to anyone without 10 rep because so many leechers are there and are spoiling it.

We are not talking about removing the scams. If you bothered to read one word, it's about removing and prohibiting keyloggers

Thing is, you give someone a keylogger, there's no guarantee they will only use it to get WoW accounts.
