I would like to see some consistency.

The reason that contributors in the memory editing section shoot people down who ask or say stupid things is because the section is severely under-moderated compared to the rest of the forums.

Apoc does a great job but he's just one person, and he's not magic. Furthermore, prior to him coming in there was next-to-no moderation being done in that section.

The problem lies in that previously, the section was severely under-moderated, so the members took care of business themselves. When someone came in and was being annoying or retarded they got what they deserved, and left because of it. Problem solved. But now we have a situation where the moderators seem to be semi-moderating the section. They come in, and are handing out infractions to or threatening to ban/infract the contributors for flaming the idiots, but not doing anything about the actual cause of the flaming (the idiots and the lack of moderation in relation to them). (Again, Apoc is excluded from this)

If some of the contributors could lock threads, edit posts, etc. we might actually be able to keep the forums clean of retardation without the flaming. But if we don't flame the idiots out they just keep coming back and it's extremely frustrating and a huge waste of time.

I for one have requested this type of thing multiple times (and from memory so has Kynox), but it has been denied. So why is it that it's different for the other sections of the forums?

P.S. Inb4 "because you guys are ass-holes". We're only like that because we have to moderate the forums but without any moderation powers. The only tools at out disposal are words.

consistency would have banned u ages ago since u have flamed a lot it also would have banned kynox.
If u dont like it here feel free to leave.
I dont give a crap about ur whine "we contributors get infractions because we flame, it is not just" we give infractions to those who flame, if u feel like a thread should be deleted then use the report button.
But ok i will go over it and give infractions to the rule breakings i see from now on.
