Way to notify users of scammers

The suggestion then I would like to make is notify users that a MMOWNED user is scamming. This would help greatly in this case as the scammer was able to keep scamming because he could delete his post. Hmmmmm was able to go on with the scam for several hours probably netting around $200 because no one knew it was a scam. I posted in his threads saying it was a scam but he just deleted them. This is especially helpful when a repped user is scamming.




This guy has been posting about going to this website twice now. First time he did it he deleted the post right after i called it out as a scam. Luckily he reposted it saying the website still is good. I did a whois search on it to find out it was a scam(made yesterday).

He made people trust him that it was a legit site with his rep posting it.
Also right after he was caught the second time he actually took down the website. It seems warcraftcurrency.com no longer works. The site was some shitty thing made in like 20 mins.

Luckily for us i took a screenshot of his post so when he deleted it there would be evidence.

It also seems like he had trouble in the past about deleting posts. Well finally hes done with scamming scammers. I applaud him for his very elaborate scam though.

yea there is so people don't go to that website anymore or try and sell to the aim screen name or call the number. This is usually the best way to get the information out dunno why your hating on it.

I support this proposal. Some people actually were scammed according to what they posted in the thread.

It was like 20 hours without payment when promised like 2 hours, the site is also down and the AIM name is offline.

The suggestion forum is not to suggest people getting banned, to suggest someone being promoted, or anything that is related to a single user.

Cypher had a legitimate reason to post his thread.

Please read the sticky next time, and enjoy your infractions for this post as KuR will most likely not be happy about another user breaking the rules, especially in this section.

There's a report button, use it. You could have included all that information in a PM to any Admin / Super Mod. There's no excuses for a thread like this here.

Even if a PM won't notify every user that was scammed by him, the suggestion forum is strictly reserved to suggestions. The only suggestion in this thread was to ban him. This can be done through PM. As far as everyone who got screwed, tough shit, it happens. Notifying people won't change the fact that they've been screwed.

If a MMOwned user scams you or someone you know, get all the evidence you have and PM KuRIoS.

As far as the thread you linked; as I said, Cypher had his reasons to do that, and Krypton's offense was MUCH MUCH worse than Hmmmm's.
