i think you should be able to make a post like here is a example

you make like the best scamming guide and lets say your other contribs were not ranking in the +rep or maybe some just forgot to +rep so what im saying is you should be able to like post +rep if you like ... just as a reminder sometimes ill use something and forget but if its some nooby to the sight he doesnt know not too and i see the flame "dont ask for rep" then i usally rep them because its a reminder so idk ill probaly be flamed in the next hour

Hmmmm, inside I want to say Yes, cause there are a lot of members that say "Thanks, going to try this!" on my posts and don't rep at all and it gets annoying.

But to be more correct, No, because as rep is an incentive to contribute, it shouldn't be the only reason to contribute. And if a member doesn't remember to +rep something they like, then they probably wont remember to +rep something they like even if they see at the bottom of the post...

I think REP is designated as someone that thinks you you are worthy of Reputation, its something thats like a TIP in a restaurant. Would you tip a waitress that does her job or would you TIP her for being extra awesome..

The decision to give Reputation is made by the person(s) viewing your post, and often saying "+Rep plz" will make them want to even less.

Again, it's their decision, don't try and change it.
