[Question]Aaannnddd I'm stumped

I am new to the whole model editing thing, but i have a lot of experience with computer programming and what not. I have been following the guide http://www.mmowned.com/forums/model-...g-dummies.html and the 2nd step is what gets me. I do not have the option of selecting model.MPQ to edit. I have installed the Model Change application and used it to open WoW, but I do not know why i am not able to access the .mpq's that are seen in his guide. I have been at this a while and I would really appreciate it if I could get some help with this. Anything is greatly appreciated. Thanks ^^

I think the file "common.mpq" should be the one you should open. Looking in there SHOULD have everything that you want. If it's not there, try the "expansion.mpq" file. Also, if you open the .mpq files and nothing shows up, make sure to get the latest version of MWS.

common.mpq is what you want, and every guide here tha has been recently updated has said that they have been merged into common.mpq.

If the guide you are using doesn't then it might not work in the end either.
