Where can I find someone to RE a game?

I am looking to find someone to reverse engineer AoE2, so I can automate some in game functions bases on conditions.
Something like what PQR or HB did to WoW.

Where can I find such a programmer? Every door I knocked was void. Nobody seems to be the least interested in doing so.

As someone who has had "the next great idea for an app" over a hundred times, let me give you some advice thats gonna do you good. Something nobody told me and had to learn the hard way:

NOBODY is gonna take the time to write a program for you unless you're willing to dish out the cash it takes to hire a developer. And if you're thinking a thousand or so dollars, think again. Everyone who knows how to code is either working on their own project and wont be interested or they've got careers and really dont want to do it.

If/when you do find someone to do it and you're willing to pay 6-8 thousand dollars for their time, they usually dont give a rats ass and will milk you for whatever you got. Im not talking about every coder out there its just what I've seen happen before. I mean they can say something like "Hey Nov17 I ran into a problem and the $(document).ready(function(){} is just going AWOL and I need more time (which requires more money). And you have no idea WTF he said other than some shit is ****ed up and its gonna cost more.

So here's the advice:
LEARN TO CODE! Do it yourself. It's the best investment you'll ever make. So when you get these great ideas or the need for a program that automates tasks for you, you wont have to worry about the above and just make it yourself. Probably even sell it if its good enough. You can start at codeacademy.com Pick ANY language and take it from there.

About 30-40 hours of investment into your advise I am getting really close to what I wanted.
I am confident I will end up making on my own what I want.

The question is, that someone experienced could have done what I did in 30-40 hours in much much less. This isn't rocket science. It is simple stuff.

Therefore I still don't get why nobody is interested in automation and reverse engineering.

For 200-300$ I would easily spend 4-5 hours to do what I first did in 40 hours. Most likely for less than that.
