Basically, what are your views on it for those who've watched the reveal?

They didn't show any footage, just cinematics.
Also, i hate sports and TV, and there were lots of it there... I'll just stick to my pc and download the tv shows i wanna watch, way better than this console

Not really been a fan of consoles myself since I made the 'transition' to PC's which I'll never ever change. This mouse and keyboard owns any controller, but still was quite interesting to see how far they're trying to push consoles nowadays. Now just to wait for all the console fan boys to compare the new Xbox to a half decent computer in regards of performance and graphics, weeeee! I do agree on the TV part as well, who sits through commercials in this modern day!

I miss the days when consoles weren't purely based on the multimedia options they provided. No more tvtvtvtvtvttvtvttvcodcodcodtelevision spam mode! RIP legionaries like the Ocarina of Time and FF :-( On the other hand, they really did get straight to the point with what they wanted to talk about, the new xbox tv, so much for gaimz! -_-

Yeah but currently its all about beating other consoles on the market so the developers are doing somewhat funny moves to attract more customers (wii has motion control, better make PS move/Kinect)
So yeah, so long for gaming although there are some decent games announced, I would still buy a high-end pc, don't hate!

I think anyone with their head screwed on would prefer a high end gaming PC! This is where all the decent games have ported over too! :P Although sad, it's true, purely about beating the competition nowadays and they seem to be going to any extent to do so :-(

It's just that PC is much more flexible and there is no need for console devs to try to reproduce that, or else they will end like: TV TV TV TV TV TV TV

I think the fact that a PC is basically a TV TV TV TV and a multimedia gaming system already, puts it way ahead of these mere consoles :P
