Hi, I keep getting randomly disconnected from Xbox live I am using a D-Link DSL-2680 router.

I have forwarded all the ports that Xbox live uses as well as setting DMZ up, I have been told that disabling upnp is better but from what I have tried it makes no difference whether it is enabled or not I still get disconnected randomly, I have phoned Talk Talk(My ISP) and they have said the router supports Xbox Live so it must be a problem at my end, I am using a wired connection, made a new ethernet cable this morning and still makes no difference, the cable is fine my cable tester says so and it works perfectly fine with my computer. I cant think of anything else to try, I have searched around Google and never found anyone else having trouble with this router, anyone got any suggestions?

The xbox servers seem to have some stupid rule that they don't accept new IP's for some time. If your ISP setup is fairly new it simply wont work for a few days or even up to a week until your service has been installed. Every single time I have changed ISP the setup that worked perfectly fine stopped working the moment I had a new IP or a new ISP. Just wait it out and it should help, and don't bother calling xbox they will just tell you it is your router.
