Technical Problems with an Xbox Live Mic

Hi guys its gelormino....

So Ive come back after an extended break just to look around the forums and such...

Also the reason why Im here is a cry for help regarding my Xbox 360 Mic


Here is my problem!!!

When using my Xbox Live Mic, I can hear people fine!
But when I try and send a voice message, People hear nothing!!
And I cant talk in-game either

Actually in game, people tell me that when they talk I am causing an echo EVEN WITH MY MIC TURNED TO THE OFF POSITION

I have tried every damn trick in the book to get these mics working again.
I have both a wired controller and a wireless one... 2 Wireless actually

I only have a wired Mic, But I have THREE Of them

I try my mic on each one of the 3 Controllers and yet The same problem..

To avoid any wasted typing...

YES, My Mute Setting is OFF
YES, I have tried cleaning the mics back end!
YES, Ive tried buying a new controller
YES. I have tried Buying a new Mic


Im still pissed right now so my post probally is giberish so...

Try getting a wireless mic, also try the mics on other peoples xbox's and gamerprofils

If its wireless it could be the activity with other things going around, if that makes since?
If its a wired it could be the wires, but the probability of the controller being ****ed up is very low. Although it could be the wiring in the microphone. If you have warranty, take it back. If not, buy a new microphone and try it

check your settings? or try restoring systems defaults in the system menu

the same thing happend when i dropped my controller.

you just need to get a new one
