ok, so about 3months ago I got a new graphics card for my computer (nvidia 8600 gt) and everything ran smoothly, well about 2 weeks ago when I turned it on, the screen didnt come on.
so, i unplugged it and left it for a while turned it back on, and it worked. well, about a week later it started doing it again and i tryd doing the same thing, but it still wouldnt work. well, the next morning, it worked again. so, now it stoped again and when i boot up my computer only the fans turn on, and nothing else. the fans get gradually louder, untill the plain out.
ive tried resetting the memory, graphics card, and nothing works.
ive tested my graphics card on a different computer and it works just dandy. so, im not sure what to do next.
I've also priced a mobo for my PC and it would cost about $150 to replace it myself, which im capable of doing. but i bought the thing new for only $600, so would it be worth it?
ive considerd buying a nice nvidia mobo and a new case to put it in, but i dont know if thats overkill or not. So, my question is this, is my mobo bad, and if so what should i do?
