Problem With Computer Sound (Help PLS!)

i don't know were else to turn. i have spent like 3 weeks trying to fix this problem.
when i try and open my volume control it gives me "No Active Mixer Devices installed" i've tried Run--->services.msc making sure that its started
Tried Updating drivers. Tried getting new drivers.
i know my sound card is still good
About the Only thing i haven't tried is re installing my Legacy Audio Drivers. the only problem is i cannot find a place to get new ones to replace my damaged ones. if somone could pls help me, any suggestion. or maybe get me a link on the Legacy Audio drivers it would be very highly appreciated. seeming as i can't raid anymore because vent is now usless to me i really ned to get this problem fixed.

Hmm, maybe you dont have a required codec?

Im not sure, try finding a codec pack and download em all... or if its a hardware issue, i cant help you, remember, electronics break easier then you think...
