Make Crystals

ok here is a step by step instructions on how to make cool looking crystals
Ingrediants
Borax(Cleaning deturgent,Special kind)
If you dont have Borax then Sugar
A Cup
Hot water(cant be mild or cold)
String
Pen
And a Button


Instructions
1.Pour the hot water into the cup
2.Pout the Borax/Sugar inot the water(2 table spoons)
3.Stir till it is dissolved(for the borax its ok if there is still a LITTLE on the bottom)
4.Take the string and tie it around the pen in the middle.
5.Then take the other end of the string and tie it around the button.
6.Put the button in the water and the pen above the glass(t will look like a little swing being supported by a cup)(ERGENT: Dont let the button touch the bottom of the glass)
7.Wait about 1 hour and there will be crystals on the button and the string
8.Then cut off the button part.(leave the crystals on the string that are attached)
9.Put the pen and string back into the water to look like a swing again but without the button.
10.Wait for as long as you like(recommended 48 hours)
11. Take the string out and look at that beauty

if they are sugar then yes, you COULD. but if you made it with borax then you could die with it.

Anyway, I love to make em w/ sugar, add food coloring and sometimes a little bit of jello powder, makes really good candy for friends and such.

Ok first off.. please stop scaring the kid..

borax will not kill you it will howerver

cause reproductive problems,
gastrointestinal problems
respiratory problems
liver problems
kidney problems..
and ur children will prolly have birth defects..

other than that its not so bad... it wont kill you unless you like ate a hella lot of it..
