    Linux -> Windows XP

    I tried out Ubuntu but I prefer Windows XP.

    Now with installing Ubuntu it erased everything off my HD.

    Anyone knows a program so I can install Windows on ubuntu?

    I could burn an ISO file and boot but I don't have any CD's left.

    Anyone knows a Windows XP download so I can save it on desktop and just install?

    (So I can delete Ubuntu and install Win Xp)

    Rep for the person who can help me.

    I have a XP Pro iso that I got from a torrent site a while ago. It's the students edition or whatever its called so you can just run the .exe without having to burn it to a CD. I'm not sure I'm allowed to post it though. If you have AIM or something we can discuss it.

    I know alot about OS's cause I've been through um all Espieceally under the Linux Caterogory

    You can't install Xp onto Ubuntu, but you can dual boot. Which would give you a option on the boot up screen to choose which OS you want to use. This can be complicated and risky if you don't know what your doing.

    But to answer your question...Yes you can easily delete Ubuntu and install XP but if you want Ubuntu gone, or even to dual boot, but you will need a blank disc to burn XP onto. The disc is the vital part in re-formatting

    If you want, I can give you links to custom made OS's which are free to use. All based on XP or whatever OS you like. Some can even be under 700mb like the one I use.
    I use Crystal Xp, its Xp but tweaked to the max, has custom everything and also comes with pre-installed programs, but alot of people don't like custom OS's because they are custom

    TL;DR
    You can delete Ubuntu and replace it with XP but you need a blank disc and I can get you a OS if you want.
