Illegality of Phishing/GMPH

I'm not an expert in laws and didn't find anything on google, so I got a question for you guys:


After seeing phishing sites or similar things like the GMPH (program by Piggy which you can't get anymore) that have a HUGE income of accounts (30+ per day) I wondered how high your fine can become if you're caught.

If you scammed some account nothing will happen, I assume. But what about many hundreds?

Well, depends on how dumb you are. If you get caught, have fun in court. But, if you give NONE of YOUR info, there's really no way to get you.

Using official Blizzard images (wow logo, borders ect) can get you in trouble.

I assuming it being just digital property in-game that it will hold no water in court. How often do you see people go to court for taking someones paid account? It's easy to get back if you can prove it's yours.
