Isn't the "Cover The Night" a bit promoting vandalism? Even if it's for a "good cause" it's still vandalism posting stickers and posters everywhere in a city.
In most cities, you can get fined for putting posters without permission.
I.E. Political parties can't put their signs anywhere. They need permission from the land owner or the building owner. If there wasn't permission, they could be fined or etc.
So wouldn't this "Cover the night" promote vandalism? I wouldn't want Kony 2012 plastered all over my neighborhood.
In fact: We, the neighborhood, building owners, land owners, government etc has to clean up the mess of posters and stickers all over the place. It's not spray paint but it takes countless hours taking off the stickers and posters. And the amount of litter and trash it will produce. Thought about that?
Seriously, "Cover The Night" is why I can't support the cause. Yes, it gives awareness and the Cover The Night could promote even more awareness, but I for one will not tolerate vandalism in my city. Posters will eventually fall and cause problems everywhere. Clogged up sewers, rivers with posters. Wildlife could be harmed. Heck, even a poster can fly off, stick to one's windshield and cause an accident.
Whats your opinion?
