You guys realize that rep doesn't matter right? By having someone say +rep, it is simply saying thank you. YOU DON'T GET ANYTHING FOR GETTING REP!!!! Reputation is basically an internet cock pump, making you feel better about yourself for a whole 10 minutes, and then you go back to being the sorry, WoW-addicted person before. Having +1 gazillion rep doesn't make you special, having 0 rep doesn't make someone a noob. I'm tired of people posting +rep in every thread, or saying "You just posted this for rep you loser!" NEWSFLASH, NOBODY ****ING CARES ABOUT REP ON THIS SITE.

Hehe, as well, lots of people who come here don't even play WoW. But if you make sweeping generalizations you wouldn't be able to see that.

No one wants to only have 1 rep. That's why people want it so bad. But once you get a certain amount, you realize that it means nothing. But you can't understand that until you've gotten to that point.

hm... then you can also say gold medals and so on also doesnt mather. I think its the community which makes REP worthfull... when they think its something honorful and have more respect for people with much Rep then people with low rep, it mathers. Also If you give restrictions like saying: Only people with 10+ Rep can read this threat... also it motivates the people to constribute.

Giving rep to someone shows that you appreciate his/her/it's work on the forums and rep does infact give something to you
80 rep gives contributor section + use of the shoutbox (our online chatsystem) + elite guides + elite exploit section.
300 rep gives access to purple name and maybe soon to be added benefits.
