A success story of some sorts

    Hai,
Lets start off by saying that I've been scammed on MMOwned 2 times already, 1 of the guys who scammed me is already banned, but the other one isnt (apparently I dont have enough proof, but whatever, the guys a contributor, explains why no one wants to ban him). Lets get to the point tho.

    http://www.mmowned.com/forums/mmowne...ansfer-eu.html

The guy who scammed is snugglepants, he offered pratty nice deal of cash and SC2 key for a character transfer and faction change, so I went for it, thinking that I'm more safe to trade with a contributor. I was, however, wrong. As soon as I did both servcies, he started to ignore me (I actually still got MSN logs if any mod wants to read them or something). He did not though it through tho - I' ve used my own debit card to make the transfer and the faction change so few minutes later I was on phone with my bank saying that I did not authorise those 2 transactions. They said its fine, they will take care of it, but it will take time. And indeed it did - roughly 3 months from that date, I've finally recieved my money back. I've also got an email from Blizzard regarding the chaarcter I've transfered and faction changed:

If snugglepants had the balls to post here, I would ask him: was it worth it? Now you will have to pay it yourself to get your account unlocked (or look for another person to scam on MMOwned).

For moderation and administration team: please look at the dates, names, snugglepants posts to compare the facts and you will find out that he is indeedy a scammer.

In conslusion: it truly feels like an achievement :>

Blizzard does use noreply but since email spoofing became popular it seems they start to use accounts, technicalsupport and other specific names.

You haven't seen much then. Only Blizzard uses @blizzard.com emails and there's no way for anyone else to get them, I think its even mentioned in game hints on loading screen.

    Happy now?
I cant belive how incompetent your post was Aldun, why even say things that you have no clue about? Just because you havent seen something doesnt make it fake.

Why the hell I'm even doing this, I'm not trying to prove anything to you, I'm just a happy person who got his money back.
