Is Graphics table worth its money?

Basicly the title says it all
I'm not a good painter and I'm a noob in Photoshop but I'm very interested to learn more about it.
This are the only graphic tables I found that are within my budget

    Trust TB-5300 for 45€
    Trust TB-6300 for 60€

Is it worth to buy one? Oh and does it display picture too or not (I saw some expensive models that display picture and work like a touchscreen LCD but I'm not sure about these 2 models)

Is Graphics table worth its money?

Yea everyone is saying the Wacom Bamboo is awesome but isn't the drawing area really small?
I don't know how big it should be because I never used a tablet before.

drop the cash for something decent intuos4 medium. you can't go wrong. bamboo and that crap is a waste of time and money.

unless you draw the from the elbow and require an oddly large amount of space you can work withe tablet and learn to zoom in and out to do detail work on the medium. the only time you should consider buying something better is to actually have the drawing on your tablet (IE, cintiq)

I know a good bit of people (art university, so there is a lot) that went with the above advice.. HATED the bamboo, picked up a intuos 4 medium(sometimes large) and immediately wished they hadn't wasted the 100$ on the pos bamboo.. avoid their mistakes.

Bamboo has worked fine for me but then again I haven't used it that much. With the budget I had it was worth it.

    Depends... really
I have a bamboo, and I've used an intuos, and I much prefer the intuos, it makes it so much easier to do tasks because of the larger canvas. Of course, price is indeed an issue...
So unless you're just a hobbyist, I'd get an intuos.

    Editable signature, at last!

Damn the bamboo was sent back because I wasn't home to pay it -.-
So I got second chance to choose between two bamboos:
    Bamboo Pen
    Bamboo MTE-450

The price is the same on both, only difference is that the MTE-450 is used and Pen is new. Which one do you recommend?
I'd get an Intuos but I just can't afford it

I do have a Bamboo MTE-450. It is okay, but it really is small. I cannot say its very good or sth. since I didn't use it a lot but I think Reflection is best in knowing this stuff.

I have an intuos4 medium, and I love it.
The bamboo is great for a starter though. You get used to the feel of a tablet, without having to make a larger upfront investment.
