Changing MAC address with Linksys router?

I have been messing around with Technitium MAC Address Changer and I read that you have to manually change the settings of the router in order for it to take effect. I have found the address i need to go to via IE to edit my settings, but I don't know how exactly and I want to ensure my Wow account is safe. Does anyone know how to do this and have a set of instructions for me or anything? I have the router hooked up to a cable modem if that changes anything.

My plan is to change my MAC address and IP address, then go on the wow website and change my password. If my account ever gets caught botting I could recover it and claim it was stolen.

    Thanks.

I tried using a program and changed the settings on my router and It did nothing.. Changed my IP to a new place in the same city...

The bad thing about just changing your MAC address and getting a new IP is that the first two digits will remain the same which indicates which state and i think city. so not such a good idea there.
Hotspot shield has a set list of IP's which it changes to and im sure Blizz staff has them.
I know that it uses a set list because i will have to keep turning it on and off till i get an ip that has not already been banned. Also Hotspot Gives you American Ip addresses so if you did attempt this (assuming your live in America) try to get another program that gives you and IP adress from asia or africa.
over all i dont think this will work but GL getting it working if you do try XD
Nice idea but idk it it would go through, especially with hotspot shield
