Anyone know what could be causing this?

I seem to be having a little problem with my internet connection speed.

My internet is really slow conntecting to any website, connecting to msn works fine, but conntecting to google/mmowned/yahoo etc is really really slow.
Playing online FPS games too like Combat arms and CS is really really slow too.

    I'm using Firefox.
I ran a speedtest and it seems what were paying for is coming through properly.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Anyone know what could be causing this?

Have you tried on another computer on the same network, to see if it's the same there? On a more serious note; perhaps the internet hates you?

    ~48 down and ~1.5 up?
I think the problem is the upload speed.

Maybe it could be your cable modem?

I was once blue-screening randomly when using any applications that used the Internet; it turned out that my cable modem didn't have the right drivers or something like that.

Also, run a Ping Test and post the results.
