Looking for an inexpensive laptop that will run wow without lag.

Hey guys, looking for an inexpensive laptop (around $500-$600 hopefully) that will run wow without lag in raids. I figure I cant get one with that price range that will run in dal perfectly or anything but I saw a $499 one that had dual core processor and 250gb of memory so I figure there has to be something decent in my price range.

just looking for links if anyone knows of a decent comp.

Dell have inspiron 1525, ive heard its pretty good, and run wow easily, if you add a core 2 duo 2.1 and 2 gb of ram its going to be good enough to run wow, the laptop have a onboard vga, but a lot of people says its good and run a lot of nice games

Just check out what WoW's minimum system requirements are (from the WOTLK box, probably), up it a little, and check out what laptops have those specs.

Check newegg.com if you haven't already, I always get great prices there, and their shipping turnaorund is awesome.

From personal experience, it runs it okay, around 15-25 fps on all low settings though, and WoW is about all it will run, that on board graphics card is what is hurting it.

Re: Looking for an inexpensive laptop that will run wow without lag.

MSI GT 627 is mine, so far i never had lag due to hardware, only because of crappy german dsl

It did cost me 1150 bucks tho .
But that was last summer, so assume it is far cheaper now, or alternatively just buy the next gen with same speccs but quad core

And in the end a last tip:
If you buy a Laptop, DO NOT be a cheap ass scrooge, quality has its price and 90% of all laptops are not upgradeable!!

    EDIT: check this one
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.318762.34-115-681
This one has everything you need except a lil low proccessor but for 799$ its a good deal!

    PM me for Signatures!

I love this, you see it ALL the time in the IT Technician related jobs.

People want to get quality but don't want to or can't afford it.

Sometimes you get people trying to get a certain feature for a certain price and it is just impossible, like trying to swallow a Water Melon whole.
