MSN's screwed up. Help?

Okay, so.
MSN isn't workign for me. I've tried repairs, reinstalling, heck, I even reformatted by drive. Still getting:

'The MSN service is not available. Please retry later.'

Been like this for a few days. All web-based / mobile-based clietns aren't working for me either. No matter WHAT windows live ID i use, same error.
Only thing that is workign for me is eBuddy web. and i HATE ebuddy!

Any ideas? I've emailed Microshit and they said to upgrade my messenger, which I can't do cause I already have the latest -,-

Make sure your firewall/router/antivirus is not blocking the port needed. You can also try using Pidgin or Trillian to see if you get different results.

try a earlier version, try everything common as possible and comeback

Have you tried using a previous version of MSN?

Or maybe by some chance, your firewall is restricting something?

Maybe a port needs to be forwarded!

Try using pidgin, I was having a similar issue since 2 maybe 3 days ago, I'd sign in and then instantly get signed out, that same day blizzard suspended my WoW account saying I had a virus WTF? Anyways, I scanned my computer, no virus, no passwords were changed and everything was working perfectly. So I tried MSN again and still the same problem, so then I gave pidgin a shot and it was working fine.

I was just pissed that Blizz suspended my account telling me I had a virus when I knew I didn't =.=

Not sure if its related, but this morning when i tried to sign on it said it was unavailable and a few hours later it forced me to upgrade to the newest version as i was still using 8.5.

One thing i found out about msn is IF your computer time isn't the same as your local time MSN will not open. I had this problem with my computer and i just changed the time and date and it worked.... Try that? :P

I use to have a similar problem I switched over to Pidgin and it works now.
