Xbox Live (Warning for who has modded his X360)

I just wanted to warn you guys that i read on an italian x360 modding forum that atm microsoft is making STRICT CONTROLS on x360, they are even checking firmwares and so on, it's one of the rare periods when they check strictly the console to try to ban modded consoles ( for example i changed my DVD-unit firmware )
I still don't know if this is real, but i suggest to stay offline with ur x360 (if u modded it) till more is known

Microsoft have been banning modded Xbox for years, Providing you keep your firmware upto date you should be fine.

A Rundown at my school happened, about half of them were banned. They blame it on one of the two modder's techniques, what's the real cause?

I agree with superizm; they break so bloody much..

Don't get me wrong. I have one. Had it for over a year and a half. I use it pretty much every day. Hasn't been sent off. My friend however; who has an elite has had it sent off twice in the same time, we got our xboxs in the same month.

rrod = easy fix.. modding is worth it, think about 4 games pays for the 360.. don't play crazy public rips or games before they're realsed and you'll be fine...
