this is going to suck!!! it was forecast to be 47 degrees in sydneys west on sunday and 44 in the eastern suberbs where i am :S n i dont even have aircon or a pool :P

Whoa, 47C is bloody hot...Over here in the UK I feel its too hot while its 20-25C :P

Too bad we only get around 25 maybe for a week or two in summer, the rest of the time its 0-15 (-1 to -15 when you count in wind chill factor, considering its always windy even when sunny here =P)

Hottest I have been to was in Kos last year, and that was 37-40 for the week, it was so freakin hot I spent all day in the pool/shade, and my brother spent all day inside reading.

Maybe you should get prepared - Throw loads of 2L bottles of water in the freezer and buy plenty of ice creams :P

Look on the bright side, 'least we're getting snow . I am loving this past week. Today was the heaviest its been in a long time.
