I've noticed that when I make a thread trying to receive reputation, I don't get any reputaion at all.. But when I make a guide because I feel like it, not for reputation.. I get more reputation..

If your only reason to post is to get more +Rep the things you do are more often reposts or just some useless crap you just found after searching from google 30 secs ago. When you have a real thing, like a well made guide just to help ppl it is more often better for ppl to read and much more helpful so thats why i think that +Rep is received more often when you don't try to reach getting it by posting.
