an other topic! GEFORCE 7 GEFORCE 7600GT Could i run it?

Hy Guys I whant to get a New Graphics card and the one that i can get is a GEFORCE 7 GEFORCE 7600GT 256MB PCI-E GRAPHICS CARD I was going to get the new Geforce seruse 8, But its like 136 pound and i can't spend that much money on it, Maybe ill get that for Xmass

Right now im Runing a GeForce 6200 LE, But i think its crap, It fps lags like crap when trying to Play Hight Graphics Games, Here is my computer Spec.

I've got a Geforce 7600GT myself, and I like it very much.. or atleast, when it was great back then .

I am planning to buy a new one, probably a 8800GTS or something.

BUT, I can still run most games on high. Just those REALLY new games, like Company of Heroes, and those other very heavy games, those I cannot play on High / Very High.

But, World of Warcraft, UT2004, Halo, Farcry, Dawn of War, stuff like that. All on high .


And also, the 7600gt is very cheap, its only like €110.- So, make your own decision.

Most cards are near the same in size apart from either dual cards or the 8 series which are slightly bigger. Oh and the ATI1950xtx. If your getting a card like a 7600gt just get a 7900 or wait.

lol depends if ur motherboard holds AGP or PCI graphics cards. Most of the time they all fit. send me a pic of ur motherboard.

It's a PCI graphics card and with your computer witch sounds quite updated should work. Just to make sure if you open up your copmuter and take a picture of your motherboard and all, and post it here I can tell you for sure whether it will fit or not..

If Mchugh goes ahead and gets a 7600GT seeming as its near enough the same size as a 6200LE which he is currently running I see no point in him posting up his motherboard. Though if he is to get an 8800 then I'd consider a system respec, along the lines of -

Core 2 Duo (E6400+)
1GIG of DDR2
8800GTS
680i Mobo.
